Angela Schoellig, an assistant professor at the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies, is one of two U of T researchers receiving a Sloan Research Fellowship

 

Professor Angela Schoellig (UTIAS) is one of 126 researchers awarded Sloan Research Fellowships this year 2017. She conducts research combining robotics, controls and machine learning. Her goal is to enhance the performance and autonomy of robots by enabling them to learn from past experiments and from each other.

The Sloan Research Fellowships, these two-year, $60,000 fellowships are awarded yearly to 126 researchers in recognition of distinguished performance and a unique potential to make substantial contributions to their field.
